Well first of all perfume reacts with each persons unique body odour (just like a fingerprint), so what might smell good on one person might not necessarily smell the same or right on another. The best and only way to buy a perfume is to go out and try it. Most companies provide samples for precisely this reason. Wear it for a few days and see how it develops on you. How long does the scent last? Does it fade quickly. Does it change to something different after 20 mins, an hour by the end of the day! This is called the drydown.
